So for everyone who has purchased, upgraded or pre-ordered the iphone 4g.. congrats. So what do you think about the new iphone compared to the older iphone, much improvement?
For people out there such as myself you are probably wondering when is there going to be a jailbreak/unlock available for this? Well good new's the iphone 4 is almost jailbroken, and it looks like they have struck another userland jailbreak in itunes 9.2 which means that every iDevice to date including iPhone 4 3GS 3G and iPod Touch 3G/2G [New Bootrom MC Models] will be jailbroken running iOS 4. We may get an updated version of Spirit jailbreak for iPhone 4 3GS on iOS 4/4.0.1. It may get delayed because @comex wasn?t able to pre order iPhone 4. Due to this userland jailbreak, other developers like @planetbeing @chpwn has been able to get a root shell access on iPhone 4 which is a breakthrough and finally will emerge as tool to jailbreak iPhone 4. It shouldnt be too long before there is a jailbreak/unlock available for the iphone 4 being that it was completed ok on the 3g/3gs ios4 update. Apple were clever this time releasing the iphone4 because they have included some new proprietary codes which are different to the ios4 update so it will take time for the guys to get round this. As some if not most of you are aware for software such as blackra1n there was an announcement that limera1n is up and running and has been traced back to Geohot and it is their workings and it should be available for use within the next couple of days, and yes it does feel like forever! So fingers crossed, we should be playing around with our iphone's once again.
