Unlock Question

Here is my question. I have two Rogers iPhones. One is a test dummy other is the one i use, they're 16GB 3G. I am on the Bell network however. Am i able to unlock my carrier and then upgrade to iOS4 without my phone everting back to the Rogers carrier setting's telling me my Sim car is invalid?

I'm going to try and revert back to 3.1.2 with RedSn0w then JB with BlackRa1n activate my Bell Sim card on the network, change the carrier setting's then upgrade to 4... Will that work?

No, restoring to iOS4 will re-lock your device.

ok, i wont waste my time messing around with it thanks.. I'll guess i'll wait for the unlock, I'm sure it wont be long!
