jailbroke wifes phone problem installing all sources

hi all, first post, nice site

as i say i jailbroke the wifes iphone 3g 8gb last night on f/w 3.1.3

all went well, installed cydia,installed some themes ringtone etc etc, but trying to install all sources is just not happening, i installed steffwiz (if thats correct spelling ) then looked for all sources buts its nowhere to be found

i installed appsync all ok

so my question is can this be installed on 3.1.3, i have googled this, watched videos on youtube but still no luck, some people saying the servers down, but those videos where months old

also am i safe to load some apps up via itunes now, one being tomtom

i have the same model phone but 3.1.2 f/w and it all runs sweet

any advice will be great

You are safe installing from iTunes. The sources come and go. The important ones are Cydia and Rock - you should be able to find everything on those two.
