big crisis!! PLEASE HELP!!

ii have a 3GS bought 2 months ago. i ran blackrain on it, but im not sure whether it is successful or not, as the themes n things that i downloaded thru cydia cnt be used. besides the point, when i restart my phone, it gets stuck at the cable with itunes logo.

i got fed up and did the most stupid thing.. i deleted all the contents on my phone, and my phone cannot boot now. please help!!!

Yep. But it sounds like OP needs to restore because he made a full reset on the iPhone.

So you have to connect it to iTunes and restore it. This also means that iTunes will update the OS to 3.1.3. And 3.1.3, in your case, can not be jailbroken.

No, a normal restore should take about 15 minutes. Maybe 20 if you have an old/slow computer.

I wasn't including the time it takes to restore from backup.

just the time to install the OS ("operating system").

Honestly, if I factor in the time it takes me to install the OS, then restore from backup, THEN re-sync all my stuff, the total time is approx 3 hours for me.
