Will jailbreaking my iPod touch cause me to lose all the music I have in it?
There's a rather large amount of music on there that I don't really have access to, and to top it off, I've never heard. I bought my iPod from an Italian coworker of mine and it's got some pretty interesting music on there that I'd rather not lose.
Is there any way I can jailbreak my device (more or less) safely?

This might be in the wrong forum-if so, please direct me to the correct one.
Thanks a lot!

The only way you'd be able to add YOUR OWN music or videos is to sync your new iPod to your computer, whch WOULD erase all content.

However, go to copytrans.com and lookat their software.

No, you can add your own music and videos without having to sync and causing a loss of the existing music. You just have to make sure you check "manually manage music" or something along that effect. This will keep the music in the iPod and let you drag music to the iPod in iTunes to copy to it. You won't be able to copy from the iPod to iTunes / your computer, you'll need another program for that.

Hmm..... Interesting to know. :)

But honestly, lately I've really been eyeing CopyTrans. I like the idea of having 1 universal media library spanned over multiple computers.
