    Hello

    i want to restore my iphone ( i have problems with start iphone) to to 3.1.2 are there any way to restore it away of iTunes ?? because iTunes doesn't accept restore
    My firmware version : 3.1.2 (7D11)
    Baseband version : 05.11.07
    i have new Iboot ( it is tethered locked device)

    There are sites out there that have the 3.1.2 ipsw for download. When you go to restore, press shift+restore. A file box will open up and you can select the 3.1.2 file that you downloaded.

    and this gets around that itunes won't update to 3.1.2 anymore how?

    i tried but same problem i heard iTunes stoped 3.1.2
    i don't know is it right or not ?

    anyone know other way ?

    You can only restore to 3.1.2 IF you had previously jailbroken, and within Cydia tapped "Make My Life Easier", and only if you did it during a time Apple was signing 3.1.2. If that's the case follow these directions:
