Ipod Touch Jailbreaking 1st Timer!

So i'm new to the ipod touch community. I just purchased mine in January. I am going to jailbreak it tonight for the first time. I have to downgrade the software to 3.1.2 first I know but does anyone have any other tips for me? Where do I get apps, games, and themes from? I've never done this before so I figured you guys could help me out. Thanks!

Honestly, if you wait about a week or two, you won't need to downgrade. The hacking community is working on jailbreaks for OS 3.1.3 as we speak.

Now, it's pretty simple. Once you jailbreak, you'll have a new app on your iPod. It's called "Cydia". Think of it like the jailbroken version of the AppStore. Same exact thing, except Cydia has stuff that's much, much cooler.

Thank god.. I've been trying to downgrade (unsuccessfully I admit) for about 3 hours now..! I downloaded redsn0w and everything.. Awesome btw! I can't wait!
