Well, I guess soon enough the "OMG! I accidentally upgraded!" questions will disappear and will be quickly be replaced with "can you help me figure out how I screwed up my one-click jailbreak?"

I can't wait. :)

ON A SIDENOTE - they are NOT fixing the 'tethered jailbreak'. If your current jailbreak is tethered, it will remain that way.

So please, get it out of your system now so we don't have to listen to the whining and complaining about how they didn't fix the tethered jailbreak.

Just sayin'...

Just going to have to remember to always keep my phone charged up and near a computer if I'm turning it off, so my stupid mistake doesn't happen again.

It's a sign of relief that they're working one a 3.1.3 jailbreak though, I was really looking forward to using Cydia + Winterboard when I got my 3gs.

Yeah, to be honest though, I still don't think I'll be upgrading until at least 3.2 is released, I have a feeling it will be soon, like March/April. Just a gut feeling is all though.

Well they are working on the 3.1.3 jailbreak/unlock, but in my opinion it's useless because Apple is ALREADY sending out the 3.2 beta to developers, so I'd say that within a month there will be the 3.2 update - which will have to be re-hacked, so we're looking at probably close to 2 months for 3.2 being jailbroken. As for 3.1.3, we're at their mercy. Frankly, I don't even see the point in jailbreaking the 3.1.3 before the 3.2 release. HOWEVER, if they're smart (which I know they are) they'll pobably release the 3.1.3 jailbreak RIGHT before the 3.2 update, so that Apple doesn't close the "hole", and then use the same exploits in the 3.2 update to jailbreak that as well.

Just some food for thought....

Makes sense to me, I am very tech savvy... I should be getting into all this stuff I'm sure I could but I dont have the patience for it, Blackberries took that away from me.
