Grretings. I have a Jailbroken/Unlocked 3G-16Gb iPhone (from Ultrasn0w/Cydia) running 3.0.1 - 04.26.08. Everything works fine with my phone (iPhone purchased in Aug/09) but I started founding some Apps requiring Version 3.1.2 to work. My questions are:
1) Do you think I should upgrade to 3.1.2 (I know there is not yet a good version for upgrading to 3.1.3, also it is not really necesasry), or just stay in 3.0.1?
2) In case I should upgrade to 3.1.2, which is the best method? I have been reading through forums and it seems one of the best solutions is Blackra1n / Blacksn0w (I use Windows). Anyhow, it seems before applying blackra1n/blackn0w, I would need to upgrade my iPhone from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2 (temporarily loosing my jailbreak/unlock ? this is scary). Do I really need to do it or Blackra1n/Blacksn0w will do their magic anyhow with my current OS and modem firmware? Very important: I need my WiFi connection to continue working as I use it daily.
Any other tips/suggestions will be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
