Paid apps on Cydia?

I though all apps on Cydia were free. Looks like overboard costs $1.99, how are you charged for the app?

Please excuse, I've not used jb apps very much to date.

just because it's not in apple's app store doesn't mean it's free. how is a dev supposed to make any money if everything is free?

everything i've purchased has been handled thru google checkout. very straightforward and secure.
