Better Notifcations

Hello i was wondering if there is a jailbreak app to receive better notifications. I ind it very annoying when i receive a text then a push notification and i do not notice i received a text. I find the palm web OS and android handle notifications much better. Common with jailbreak someone must have fixed this... also on a side note is there a jailbreak tweak to get the home screen to work landscape like the ipad.

Notifier or status notifier... Bitesms also has a good one

I recommend Grip. It queues up notifications and is nicely customisable.
