Help Please about unlock on a NEW IPhone!!

Hi,
Some of you were kind enough to advise how to re-unlock my then to be repaired IPhone 3GS.

Problem is that the Apple Shop just said they would not repair and kindly gave me a brand new phone!!
Very nice of them , but I now see a problem. I have a Vodafone SIM,( hence the original unlock), but now even ITunes will not sync with the new phone without a SIM, and so I cannot re-unlock again!

What can I do..?

Also, with it being a new phone, will ITunes allow all my music , photos etc to be synced to the NEW phone or will I have to start again.??

Jailbreak and hacktivate with blackra1n and unlock with sn0w. You can sync music, pictures ect. over to the new phone. Just remember to log in on it with the same account as you bought apps and music with.
