I cant sync my Iphone

I am new to the Iphone jailbreaking. I jail broke my phone and all is working well. I am able to download anything and i can sync until i install winterboard. After installing winterboard i am no longer able to sync my Iphone. I get the message that it is in recovery mode the only option i have is press ok than i can restore but than it goes back to pre jailbreak. I dont know what to do becuase i want it jailbroken just so i can change themes but i cant becuase i need winterboard. I am running 3.1.2 with baseband 5.11.07. please help i have used the blackra1n jailbreak program as well. if any answers please help.

After installing winterboard, you have to reset, and thus run Blackra1n again. You are stuck with a tethered jailbreak, which simply means that every time your phone resets you'll have to run Blackra1n when it tells you to restore. (Takes an extra 90 seconds as long as you know it's coming.)
