pleeeease help! iphone 3g 3.1.2 jailbreak

hi Im a bit of a newb even though ive jailbroken my iphone previously with redsnow so plz bare with me. i wanted new apple update 3.1.2 so went ahead n updated understanding id be un-jailbroke, now i want to re jailbreak it but cant seem to find latest redsnow?? im not fussed about unlocking I just want to be jb again, problem is theres so many different pieces of info out there n im actually **** scared of brickin my phone plz plz could someone point me in the right direction ?? much apreciated James iphone 3g 3.1.2 16gb using mac and have dloaded iphone_3.1.2_7d11 ipsw on desktop but dont know how to use it through itunes. many thanx

Don't use redsn0w, Just got to blackra1n.com and download Blackra1n for PC or mac and follow these directions.
