Photo transferred using SSH doesn't appear in iPhone Photos app

Hi guys

I was figuring out how to use MobileTerminal and SSH to transfer files from an iphone to another iphone since I can only find guides on how to transfer between iPhone and a PC or Mac

So I used scp command in iPhone MobileTerminal to try to copy a photo from my mac to my iPhone.

The command I entered was:

scp [Mac address]:/Users/admin/desktop/trees.jpg /User/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/trees.JPG

The photo was successfully transferred into iPhone but when i opened Photos app it doesn't show trees.JPG

Can someone help? Thanks very much

The path "/User/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/" is your camera roll. Transferring photos to the camera roll can be a very tedious process using SSH. The easiest way is to email the photos to yourself. Access your email via your phone and then save those photos from within the email. They will automatically be transferred to your camera roll.
