hi there i have iphone 3gs on 3.1.2 and i installer blackrain and cydia and i turned off 3g and inserted my old nonactive tmoble sim card ans my iphone keeps on searching for service and my 3gs is not tethered it turn on with out connecting it to the usb??
plezz help

Um... Are you asking how to use an inactive T-Mobile SIM card?

That's simple. Call T-Mobile, have them restore service to that SIM card, and voil?, problem solved.
