Cracked apps?

Hey,
my friend showed me his iphone 3gs with all of the newest apps opn his homescreen. He said they are all free cause he installed cracked apps via jailbreak. obviously this is illegal, but is there any other dangers to your iphone besides knowning your doing something bad?
