Check bootrom version on windows

Hello, just got my Iphone 3GS and Im dying to JB it, I'm a little concerned that I might have gotten an Iphone with the new bootrom that hotfixes the exploit. I don't wanna try to JB it before I know if it will work to 100%, though I've read that it wil work but only until my next reboot, then I have to do it via a computer and I don't want that.
So how can I check what bootrom version I've gotten on a windows system, I've only so far seen solution for this for Mac users.
