Well I would recommend re-jailbreaking it with Blackra1n. It is very ez, and by ez i mean one push of a button.

I tried when i was first JBing my phone, it did not work, i tried several times


If i were to re-JB, i would use pwnage

Well first i would restore your iPhone and then jailbreak with Blackra1n.
There shouldn't b any problem. Is it a iPhone 3G or 3G S?
Did u follow the tutorial?

Correct me if im wrong but from what i know there is no other way of getting the Rock installer w/o jailbreaking /w Blackra1n. If you need help jailbreaking with Blackra1n then lmk

Just be aware that if you do re-jailbreak ti get Icy, you should NOT install Cydia as well. It causes many people problems when they install both apps.

I found Rock in Cydia. Don't know if that helps you

You would need to rejailbreak to get Icy. I have both and have had no problems, but I've heard that some do have problems with both on their phones, so unless you know of something you need Icy for, you might want to think about whether you care to go through the jb process again for it. I have yet to actually use Icy. All the jb programs I want I've found in Cydia.
