how to check bootrom version?

new 3GSs are being sold with a new bootrom version that prevents the 3GS from being jailbroken. how can you find out your bootrom version? i just bought a 3GS yesterday.

i have a pc so i put the 3GS in recovery mode and took a look at it with usbview. it says nothing about the bootrom version. any suggestions?

If you're JB maybe fuzzyband? I know it shows your bootloader version not sure what else it might show?
