battery life after upgrading to 3.1.2 and blackra1n

I was on 3Gs 3.0 and moved to 3.1.2 and jailbroke with blackra1n immediately (so I have no experience with 3.1.2 unjailbroken), but my battery life is now significantly shorter.

I wonder if I should restore as new. I guess that means I would have to manually reinstall all my apps and data?

Give it a day or so and monitor it a but more. If it's still bad try the restore as new phone and rejailbreak
