To get this out of the way I am very new to the iPhone, just picked it up yesterday after being with my blackberry forever. And I found out that in order to do some of the things I loved on blackberry I am going to have to jailbreak my iPhone.

With all of that said, I'm going to ask what I'm sure are pretty easy questions so please bare with me.

1. Once Jailbroken, can I still use iTunes to manage everything (music, apps, ringtones, ect)?

2. Am I still going to be able to download apps off of the app store?

3. What are some of the other things I need to know? I know the difference between jailbreaking and unlocking, and I don't want to unlock.

Thanks

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Jailbreaking simply lets you install software from sources other than the app store. Unlocking lets you use your phone with other carriers.

All you need to know about jailbreaking is that it only ADDS more functionality. You lose nothing by doing it. However, you ever need to take it to an Apple Store to get it fixed, make sure to restore it as a new phone, to get rid of any trace of the jailbreak.
