adding .ipa file via DiskAid

Hi Experts

I have iphone 3g with 3.0 firmware jailbreaked, i want to install .ipa cracked files through DiskAid, i have read in some blog that it has to be installed in /private/var/mobile/library/downloads.

but i am not able to see that path downloads, eventhough i create that path and install i am not getting the application in the iphone.

Please help on this
