IPSW file? where do i locate it?

I have the redsnow .8 Jb from the Dev team. when i open it says locate your IPSW. Where am i able to get that file from? this is for the 3.0 software. I know 3.1 JB will be out soon i would just like to know where i can get that file for future refrence. Any help is appreciated

If I could point you in a few places I would but the only way I got my IPSW is to do the carrier update and afterwards the IPSW is in the Recycle bin/trash. Usually I have my friend JB my phones for me cause he is an Expert. Anyway enough of my rambling LOL just do a search there are prob a couple threads with sources to get the IPSW.

Just google "iPhone 3.0 ipsw download" there's about 80 billion sites that host it.

Also, make sure you get the right one for your phone.

2nd gen iphone 3.0 ipsw filename contains 1,1

3G contains 1,2

3GS contains 2,1
