Okay I restored on i tunes but it did not give me an option for new phone it just restored to factory settings. Now Im trying to Jailbreak using redsnow 8.0 and the ispw set to 3.0 but it will not let me enter DFU mode it says phone is in recovery mode and check my instructions to make sur Im doing it correctly but I am so now my phone is screwed and all it does is show that I can make an emerg call or it just shows a pic of the I tunes cd and music note symbol with a USB plug on the bottom What should I do now???

i cannot do anything with my phone! I tried to restore again Im in recovery mode and I cant get out!!!

i had this problem too. i closed out itunes, unplugged iphone, opened itunes, plugged in iphone. itunes then recognized iphone as being in DFU mode and restored to factory settings. then it prompted me to do a restore from my previous backup.
