Video ringtones

Yesterday I saw my friends iPhone and when someone called him he had a video ringtone and I asked him he said I had to find out for myself I did a search here and couldn't find it so please help me any suggestions would appreciated

My first tip is get a new friend. Second, remember Google is your friend. Third, iClarified - iPhone - How to Enable iPhone Video Ringtones. Has to be jailbroken.

Wow. I'm reeady to give this a try. But I noticed in the instructions that it said to open INSTALLER, which is firmware 2.xx. Does video ringtones work for iPhone 3gs and 3.01? Thanks

It seems the source they give you is only compatible with INSTALLER not with Cydia.

^true...i tried but couldnt do it unless i have INSTALLER...is there any way to DL Installer on the 2G?
