Question about unjailbreaking (restoring)...

Hi all,

Currently my iPhone 3G is jailbroken 2.2.1. I want to restore it back to factory settings. Now, before I jailbroke my iPhone for the first time, I backed up my backup of the iPhone. Meaning, I copied the folder where my backup of my iPhone in its pre-jailbroken state and stored it in a separate hard drive.

Now my question is, after I perform the restore, when it asks me to restore from backup, can I restore from the backups i made when my phone was jailbroken or do I (should I) restore from the backup from pre-jailbroken iPhone?

Back it up and then restore it will remove the jailbreak but give you a current backup.

what are the consequences (if any) if after I restore, I use the backup I made when the phone was jailbroken?
