iPod 2G Problem after Jailbreak

My jailbreak was successful and I have downloaded many apps from Cydia and Installer. Though when I plug my iPod into my computer, it won't recognize it at all, not even acknowledge it's been plugged it. My iPod will simply charge.
I really would like to use iTunes to put all my songs back on my iPod... any suggestions?

Update:
Well I think a program called LibUSB was supposed to connect the iPod but it caused a BSOD repeatedly. So I erased it and now my iPod isn't recognized by my computer.
The problem now is... I did an internal reset of all data and settings on my iPod. Now it will show my boot screen but then will shut off and try to reboot. This is really starting to become a problem.

Any help? I need it desperately.

Sorry for bumping this.. but I really need my iPod to work soon... maybe anybody has some suggestions? Thanks you!
