Jailbreaking iPhone 3G question help ASAP

I was trying to do a jailbreak for my friend. and I used Pnage 2.2 and I followed the steps of iClarified.com on how to jailbreak your iPhone 3g... and yes I did successfully unlock it but now when he puts in his AT&T sim card it doesn't show a carrier... it just gives 4 flat lines like this ( _ _ _ _ ) and I go to setting,general, about... and i look at carried and it says "null (null)" ...


how do i fix this? i've been looking around the web and can't find anything.

Did u try removing the SIM card and reinserting it? sometimes that fixes it.

If not, maybe something went wrong. I suggest u restore it with iTunes as a new phone (make sure you get ATT coverage) and then re-JB it.

Let me know if that works.

Same happened to me, i suggest using quickpwn, it keeps all network settings the same to you wont experience these problems, but yeah first restore the phone. hope this helps.

yeah, i would recommend restoring the phone to itunes and then using quickpwn instead... its a little easier for those not familiar with the process...
