i want to jailbreak but...

i am worried about the warranty if i jail break.

i know that a restore will get the phone back to its un jailbroken state and apple will never know the difference.

my concern is in more extreme circumstances what if something goes wrong with the usb dock port on the phone and it will no longer recognize any thing is plugged into it. how would you then going about makeing sure apple dosent know the phone was jailbroken?

once i know the answer to that question i will be mich more inclined to jailbreak.

IF that were to happen you could always wipe the phone from the settings. That would clear the jailbreak.

wow thanks for the help. i did not realize it would be that easy to bring it back to stock. does that simple bring it back to the day i bought it or what.

sorry i am kind of dumb when it comes to the i phone as i have not owned one long.

Correct. Unless it was unlocked. But a simple jailbreak would be fine.
