A little help with PwnageTool

Hi all! I have a question about what should I do when using PwnageTool to jailbreak the iPhone 3g. My iPhone is italian, which means it is unlocked from fabric and can be used with any carrier. So I wonder, when choosing general settings, if I should choose the "Activate the phone" option or not. Please help me to decide. Thanks!

If it's unlocked you should not have to activate it. So just skip that.

I don't know if you'd call this post jumping but I have yet to get Quickpwn to run on any of my PC's (one vista one XP), both had Norton Int security on them but I removed it and loaded AVG. I still cannot get the program to run, I just get a "program failed to run looking for solution". I have .net 3.5 loaded.
Anyone else had this and found a solution?
