my unlock and jailbreak still wont let me us Tmobile

I have an old Iphone with 2.1 firmware. I followed the steps to unlockl and jailbreak it through quickpawn. After it was complete I put my Tmobile Sim card in and it says a different sim detected connect to Itunes so I do that and it tells me that this sim is not for this phone. the Tmobile logo shows up and it says i have 4 bars but it stays in emergency call mode. I can call out and get calls but it wont let me do anything else. PLEASE PLEASE help.

Restore in iTunes, jailbreak/unlock again. Should do the trick. And make sure you are using the proper files for your setup.

i had the same problem. when i repeat the process, should i put the sim in before i jailbreak or after i've unlocked?
