iPhone 3g as as Extended USB drive

i have baught a 16 gig iphone 3g. is there any app which can make me use it as a usb drive as well?? its a handy feature

Don't know of any Jailbroken apps that can do it, but the AirSharing app from the app store can.

To add or remove files to your iphone (any file you want), you can download OpenSSH on Cydia and use an SSH client on Window/Mac. Using these, you can transfer files between your iphone and your computer.

As far as I know, there is no real way to use the phone as a true USB drive, plug in and file explore.

The OpenSSH way could work for you (must have wifi network that you can connect to on both computers and iphone), but it might be a little rough and I'm sure there is an easier way.

try Diskaid DiskAid - Transfer Files betwen your Computer and your iPhone or iPod Touch. Disk Mode for your iPhone and iPod Touch.

works well if a little clunky and single file transfers
