why can't i connect my ipad/iphone to itunes

i have tried everything such as: hard rebooting both devices, changing cables and usb ports, updating to the latest softwares and reseting location privacy. someone please help i don't know what to do

What operating system is on your computer?

Also, try updating your USB drivers for your computer. I'm not sure but it could help.

I had this problem also, I uninstalled everything to do with Apple from my laptop and re installed iTunes and it worked hope this helps

Update the iTunes to the latest version and try again
