How to change itunes account from one person to another without password

Have just bought Iphone 6 and wanted to link it to my ipad. However when we tried to use itunes on phone it copied the information which my stepdaughter had onto my phone. Now I have all her music messages and contacts. Want to reset but it keeps asking for her password which we dont have. What should I do.

Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap on iTunes & App Store.
Tap on your current Apple ID at the top.
Tap on Sign Out in the popup menu that appears.
Sign into a different Apple ID in the fields provided.
