Running a full restore but non of my PDF files in iBooks restored, why?

Running a full restore but non of my PDF files in IBooks restored

This was backed up on my computer in ITunes. Any idea why?
Latest software
Fully backed up
Everything else came through fine

I've never experienced that problem. Do you have a third-party app you used to open these files? If so . . . you might want to check that app.
