How do I stop this from happening? This is a continuous issue with iTunes I keep having. I am running OS X 10.10.4 and the latest version of iTunes. I have spent numerous hours deleting songs and within a week they are right back there. This makes using iTunes miserable at best and it's burning up the storage on my iPhone.

I had the same problem a while ago. I became quite frustrated and I deleted all my iTunes purchased songs from my Mac and iPhone. I then redownloaded them back onto my computer, and synced my phone. It worked, but there may be an easier way to correct it.
