Why can't I access purchased music on second family shared device?

Cannot access purchased music on second family shared device

When I try to download purchased music on my husbands device through family sharing it keeps asking for credit card details. Have gone and confirmed the correct cc details, checked that there is available funds but it keeps saying incorrect card details. not sure why it's even asking for cc details when it's already purchased through my iTunes account. We both have our own Apple IDs.

How are you accessing the purchased music?

Are you going directly to the song in the iTunes app? That's the wrong way.

You need to be sure that you are going to More > Purchased > Family Purchases > and then select the family member who purchased the item(s).
