Can I prevent iTunes Match from replacing the music library on my device?

Subscribed to iTunes Match last night and while it's useful for my iPad mini Retina because of the limited storage but I have the 128gb iPhone 6 and I just want to use ITunes Radio ad free on it without deleting the music already on it. (I fly a lot and streaming won't work for me)

Have you tried hitting Cancel?

I canceled it be I didn't want it to erase my music

Enable it and then go to the music you want on the device in the Music app and re-download it.

I see if I can do it that way.

Make sure you have a backup of your music. Match gives you access to all of your music on any apple device. So I don't think you music will be deleted. And even if it is, there is a setting to show only music on the device and it's easy to download what you want to keep locally.

Ok. Here's the update first of all thanks for the help. I enabled it and none of my music disappeared. What a relief
