I don't know what to tell you except that it is opposite of what iTunes 11.3 is suppose to do in regard to movie extras.

iTunes 11.3 gives your movies all-new, all-streaming iTunes Extras | iMore

The Extras have been an annoyance for me since day one. Some of them are 2, and 3, times the size of the actual movie.

The Apple support guys are telling me the movies are not compatible with 11.3, lol.

I found the problem. It turns out with the Extras, and 11.3, it slows my 13" rMBP so much it literally took 8 minutes just to get the movie to start. There is now a 'menu' screen, like a BD, with Play, Extras, Scene, etc. buttons. The movies don't go straight into the movie like a movie without the Extras. FYI this 'menu' screen is on ALL the movies that have the Extras enabled and it doesn't mater if you downloaded the Extras or not. You're forced to deal with the Menu screen and poor load times. It's pretty ****ty of Apple to do this and not tell anyone.

Sounds just like how movies with iTunes extras work on the Apple TV, expect it loads instantly for me. I'm guessing internet speed will be a factor in loading movies with iTunes extras now.
