tone syncing

Hi All...

I have a question regarding the syncing of tones. I dl'd the Rigntonium App to make a few ringtones (just to be able to distinguish my iphone from the 40 people at work...lol). Anyways, I manage my own music via itunes (should I even...?) and when I click the "tones" box to sync it wants to erase all the music on my phone... Why?... and is there a way around it? Or do I just do it and reload 1500+ songs? I could find a specific answer in a search, so I came here.

Have you sync'd this phone before (not just managing your individual songs)?

IDevices can only sync each type item with only one computer. So you can sync music from one computer and tones from another, but if you ever plugged your device into a different PC to sync you will be asked to wipe it. If you have all the music, just resync it all from the current PC.
