Do you delete old apps from iTunes? I have 159GB of apps...

I'm really thinking of clearing up some space.

I use to have a lot but deleted them all since I never sync anymore really

And turned off the automatic download

You can delete the apps from iTunes, if you want. Like Karen stated, you really don't need to keep them on your computer anymore because they are readily available for re-downloading in the purchased section of the App Store.
