I have an 3rd gen iPod Touch, running iOS 5.1.1, and iTunes 10.6.1.7 on Windows 7 HP sp1 x64. For the past few weeks, iTunes is not seeing that podcasts played to completion on the iPod are not being seen as played at all within iTunes. I am looking at both the Library and the Device listings, as shown in the attached screen shot. Both of the podcasts were been fully played to completion yesterday.

When I look at the podcasts on the iPod itself, they show as played.

It used to work, but I do not know what changed between when it worked and when it broke. I could have been an update to either iTunes or iOS.

I have heard that this is an issue with the latest version of itunes, perhaps it is a recently introduced bug. You are not the first to noticed.

Thank you. Wait for Apple to fix and update, then.

After the most recent iTunes update, the next podcast I listened to on my iTouch was properly seen as played. Then it reverted back to not recognizing that the podcast had been fully listened to.

    This is getting old.
