    I hope I am posting this in the right place...

    I recently downloaded the recent iTunes update, I believe. But the problem is that iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone (3GS). Has anyone else had this problem? If so could you shed some light on this situation please? If not still could you point me in the right direction. Much appreciated.

    Edit: And Windows explorer recognizes the phone so it can't be my USB ports or anything. I have tried all of them.

    Have you tried reinstalling iTunes. I had problems with iTunes a few months ago and reinstalling fixed the problem. Hopefully it will work for you.

    Yes I have uninstalled and re installed iTunes.
