Updating iTunes

I have a jailbroken iPhone4 and iPad v.4.2.1 on greenpois0n and just wondering if updating to the new iTunes version 10.1.2 would do any harm?

If am not mistaken one of the dev guys once sent a tweet stating it was safe to upgrade to the latest iTunes but for the life of me i cannot find the source so don't quote me on it, was just giving you a starting point in your quest.

An iTunes update has never caused a JB issue for me. I am currently on 10.1.2 (17) on an iMac and all is fine...
