Syncing Apps on Itunes first

I sometimes have trouble syncing the apps using the wifi (too slow) is it possible to sync the app on the computer in iTunes (using LAN) first and then syncing the app onto the iPad ?

- go into iTunes on your desktop
- go to the iTunes store and navigate to the App Store
- download apps
- connect your iPad to your desktop
- click on the iPad in the left side column
- in the right side panel there will be a bar at the very top of it with things like "Summary", "Info", "Apps", "Movies", "TV Shows", "Podcasts", etc. click on Apps
- select the apps you want to install
- click sync
- ?????
- profit
