TomTom wants itunes pw everytime?

I have been a big TomTom fan, since the early days on the Treo. I've always liked their interfaces. Just bought a iPhone 4 yesterday and installed TomTom and Traffic last night. Everytime I launch, it keeps asks me for my itunes pw - what a pain. Any ideas?

So far - love the phone, what a great device, especially after hating my Pre for almost 17mths! Not so happy iPhone does not search File as field in contacts (this is a major pain - was same on Pre).

Concur. I have TomTom on both my iPhone and my iPad; this is not how it works. Your problem is local to you. Perhaps it is trying to download something.

I would try powering off the device. Failing that, I would delete the app and re-download.

Same here, I use it quite regularly, and it has NEVER asked for my iTunes password. It's only complained about my traffic username and password expiring.

I think it was for traffic subscription. I think I was miss entering password while driving; it didn't give me an error message. Now that I entered it correctly once, it seems content now (yea). I so like this software!!!

It is supposed to simplify things that one can charge the traffic subscription at the App Store.

I use TomTom even between origins and destinations that I know very well, just for the traffic updates. Last night it saved me 15 minutes and lots of stress by sending me via an alternate route on my return from LGA.

I even use it on my iPad to assist my Limo driver. All the drivers in my service now have GPSs but few have traffic.

It only gets better.
