New Version of itunes

New at all of this -

If I upgrade my itunes version to 9.2 will I loose my jailbreak?

Also another another itunes note - if I want to add another device (ipod for my daughter), do I do that in my itunes I have now or do I need to do it on another computer?

I want her to have SOME of the music I have already purchased.

You are safe updating to 9.2. It is smart to always check first though.

You can sync multiple devices to the same computer. Just have her choose which of your music to sync to her iPod.

You can have multiple devices associated with iTunes.

However, you can only have that device associated with ONE copy of iTunes. So if you use a home PC to sync her iPod, she cannot then add more to it via a Laptop copy of iTunes.
