    I try to plug in my iPhone, but I keep getting this message:
    "The iPhone cannont be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started"
    I went to Apple.com followed the instructions on how to Start AMDS, but when I click Start it says:
    "The Apple Moblie Device service on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service"
    So I tried uninstalling then reinstalling both iTunes and AMDS. After thats all finished I try to hook my iPhone up and it says the same thing.

    Can someone please help me!

    Make sure both services, Apple Mobile Device and iPod Service are both set to "Automatic", clicking "Apply" to each. You can manually try starting each service to see if works, or reboot to see if that fixes it.

    Okay I just tried that and it still won't work.
    My iPod Service is working just fine.
    Why is AMDS being stupid!!!

    Okay I got it! =]
    After two days I got it.
    I disabled my Firewall and it worked perfectly.
