iPhone to iTunes Playlists

I hope someone can save me some time. I have a good amount of music on my iPhone, around 2000 songs, and I want to make a "playlist" of these songs and copy it to my computer. The reason behind this is that if I ever need to restore as a new phone, I want to be able to get all the music back quickly to my phone without having to pick and choose the songs from my main iTunes library again. Does anyone know a quick way to do this? Much appreciated!

Dropbox is an app for iphone sync, why not try it?

you can only create playlists on the compuer.

if you make a playlist on the compuer with the songs you want to sync and then only select that playlist to sync it will restore only those songs for you

Found a great fix for it....it's an app called PhoneView. It allowed me to transfer all the songs on my iPhone to my iTunes and created the playlist at the same time. The songs that were already on my iTunes did not duplicate or anything, so it worked perfectly! Just wanted to post this if anyone else had this question.
